Flyer and InDesign Tutorials

Below are some pictures I created with Adobe InDesign. Before creating these I did a couple tutorials in class. I learned how to open, and save documents, and I took a quick tour. I also learned how to modify aspects of the pages and window view.

Next, I created a Flern for a real event. I decided to advertise the cross country's team annual Jason Pyle Invitational inter-squad meet. I picked this event since I'll be participating in it as well. To create this flyer I used the rectangle tool and changed the fill setting to red and some to white. I also used the line tool to create the track lines. Lastly I used the text tool and used the "Active Font" for the JPI part and fooled around with other fonts as well.

After the flyer was created I learned some more from another tutorial. The last two pictures are images of a post card I also made in Adobe InDesign. I learned how to rotate a singular page and I used the eclipse tool to create the disco ball shape and the white backgrounds behind the texts. I also used the line tool to create the lines on the back of the post card.
